# Axis' Iliad API  -  Plain Text Reference

## Authentication

All endpoints accept `Authorization: Bearer <api_key>` header.
Free tier endpoints work without authentication.
Obtain a key: `POST /v1/accounts` with `{email, name, tier: "free"}`.

## Core Endpoints

### POST /v1/analyze
Analyze a codebase. Accepts `{github_url}` or `{files: [{path, content}]}`.
Returns 152 structured artifacts across 21 programs, each with `path`, `content`, `program`, `placement`, and `adoption_hint`.

### POST /v1/prepare-for-agentic-purchasing
One-call commerce hardener for autonomous purchasing agents.
Body: `{project_name, project_type, frameworks, goals, files, focus?, agent_type?}`
Returns: `{score, score_breakdown, purchasing_artifacts, all_artifacts, how_to_call_axis_again}`

### GET /v1/mcp/tools?q=&program=
Search 21 programs / 152 generators by keyword or capability tag.
Returns: `{total_matches, results: [{program, tier, score, capability_tags, matching_artifacts, example_call}]}`

### GET /v1/programs
List all programs with generator counts and output paths. No auth required.

## Account Management

- `POST /v1/accounts`  -  create account (returns raw_key)

1. `POST /v1/snapshots`  -  create snapshot with files
2. `POST /v1/<program>/generate` or `analyze`  -  run a specific program
3. `GET /v1/projects/:project_id/generated-files`  -  retrieve results
4. `GET /v1/projects/:project_id/export`  -  download ZIP
